Scenario:

Let's say your organization sends a newsletter or marketing email out to a large list of people and you would like to follow up with a specific cohort of that list with a personalized message. That is where Replyify's Auto Follow Up comes in...

Step 1 - Create A New Campaign

Setup a normal Replyify campaign that you would like to send to your special cohort. You can reference pieces of content in your marketing email in the first email of the sequence. i.e. "I thought of you when we sent this newsletter out, did you see the deal we are offering?! It would be perfect for you. Reply back or use my calendar link and I can explain"

Be sure to add at least 2 or 3 more steps in the campaign as single step campaigns are not the best way to get results.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Make sure you turn on the BUMP (top left corner in the Edit Steps) for the first email in the sequence!

Step 2 - Send Your Initial Test Emails or Save the Campaign as a Draft

You can send your test emails for the campaign as usual to confirm your copy and spacing all look great or you can save the campaign as a draft. Either way will work for this setup.

Step 3 - Initiate the Auto Follow Up Feature

Here is the key... send your marketing email to your campaign BCC email address. This feature has multiple uses. Usually you would add this as the BCC address to start your sequence from outside of Replyify and the To: and CC: fields would be added as contacts to your campaign. Click here for for the help article on that process.

For this setup you do not need the To: and/or CC: address set to any other recipient. Set the main and only recipient of the email to the BCC address.

How to find your campaign BCC address:

Go into your Campaign Settings tab, scroll to the bottom. You will see this email address in purple text.

Step 4 - Test Your Campaign

After you have sent the email from your marketing system like HubSpot, ConstantContact etc. you will see the following in your campaign settings:

Send your Replyify campaign test emails to confirm everything looks great and set your campaign LIVE!

Step 5 - Add Contacts and HIT THE INBOX!

Now you can add your special cohort into this campaign like you normally would and (as long as you have the Bump enabled for step 1) they will a thread of your first email template and your marketing email in the their inbox.

Get your email blasts landing in the primary inbox by personalizing follow-up drip campaigns sent from your inbox (not Mailchimp).
