How Do I Connect my email Account (Gmail, Outlook, Exchange or Custom SMTP IMAP)?
To connect your primary email address, you can go to your Dashboard or to your Account menu here: https://app.replyify.com/account/profile/email-identity. (if you are connecting a 2nd or 3rd email address to your account, check out the article)
You will see the following screen:
GMAIL/G Suite/Google
Select Google > Click "Continue Setup": We have an easy authentication button to connect and authorize your Google Apps or Gmail account to Replyify.
Troubleshooting Gmail Connection Failures: If you are having trouble connecting your Gmail account, you may need to contact your IT manager and ask them to Whitelist Replyify. Here's a link you can send them since it's new Google feature.
Office365
Select Office365 > Click "Continue Setup">Click the 'Connect Your Microsoft Account' button to authenticate.
Troubleshooting Connection Failures for Outlook:
Make sure your username and password are correct: they are usually case sensitive THIS IS THE MOST COMMON ERROR! Double check it!- Check with your administrator to confirm the credentials.
Your company may be using an 'App Password' for Office 365 which is essentially 2-factor authentication. Here's an article from Microsoft with instructions.
Microsoft Exchange
Select Exchange > Click "Continue Setup" to add your credentials.

= Your email password (NOT your Replyify password) - Your password is encrypted and secured
EWS Endpoint
= Please contacts your IT Admin for this information
Authentication

GoDaddy
Select Other - Generic SMTP/IMAP > Click "Continue Setup": You have to set up your SMTP for sending and your IMAP for receiving emails. These are two separate steps with the input values listed below. Think about it like setting up a new email account on your iPhone.
Next select "GoDaddy" from the provider dropdown.
You will need your username and password you use to login to your GoDaddy email. Not your Replyify credentials!
Click 'Save' and the system will automatically test the connection. If it is successful you will be automatically redirected to the IMAP settings. Repeat the same process for IMAP.

Think about it like setting up a new email account on your iPhone. You must get these settings from your IT department or the person that administers your email account/server.
Arghhh! I've done all of this and my email account still isn't working!
This can be frustrating but have no fear. IT Administrators have a lot of options for configuring and securing their mail server and sometimes all you have to do is ask them if you've tried different 'ports', confirmed your password, and toggled 'SSL' on or off. We're happy to make a Replyify technical representative available to speak with you or your IT Admin if required to get your account set up. Just let us know.
How do I connect or re-connect my email account?
If you get a notification from Replyify in-app or via email that your email account is disconnected, please visit your Email Account settings to 'Test the Server Connection' and refresh your login credentials.
!!! IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT SIGNATURES AND SMTP !!!
Signatures are used as the identity of the sender, not just the content to add to the end of your email copy. That being said, you just make sure that your From Address of the email signature has permission to send from whichever SMTP server you are using to send.
If you add an email alias and have multiple 'FROM' email addresses tied to your primary connected SMTP, you must select these email addresses in the SMTP section. This may be done during the initial email connection or you may need to associate the FROM email addresses with the primary SMTP after you add them before they're eligible for use in a campaign. Select the checkbox next to the FROM emails on this page for multiple alias from emails. SMTP > Edit > Select > Save (see below)
Remember each step in your campaign sequences may have a different signature. If you have existing campaigns and are making changes to signatures and SMTP credentials you need to check each step in your campaign to make sure it has the correct signature selected with the correct permissions.
